at base level pr, 50 houses is enough to gian you 500 labour which is all that planet needs for population/versus land
view your income and production of food and goods to see what you make from all your planets, the produce on each is shared across, so if you fund a u fertile and made it only for agriculture you food from that could potentially feed all or most of your empire without the need to use up land on other planets to agri.

follos the missios as maraudian says, and as viper says for terran commercial is the most stable source of income, followed by food which is a unstable source as it relies on market fluctuations.

seems all 3 of us agree commercial is the best way to go for a terran in both research and applying to your land.

its best you follow the missions for they will teach you how to use your infra ect
M Maraudian
being self sufficient is usefull , but you would make Alot more money just focusing on Commercial and buying what you need
V Viper
As a terran you should focus on commercial, that is your main source of income, you can buy goods, food, and minerals that you need from the market, but it is your choice if you wish to be self sufficient and not rely on the market.
