First of all i wanna say who i am,
Im GalacticKiller, and i`ve been playing this game for about over 3 years, possible 4,
my old account was deleted, and the account i have at the moment is almost two years old...

In the last two years, i`ve become the biggest terran in Normal with 836 plannets, and also i have been a federation leader, and designed websites for my federation aswell as helping the United Terran Union in its goals. I have writen many guides for players, and managed to get a few players hocked :).
I got 5 c3`s in one month in normal :P, *me thinks thats quite an acheivement*

During this time, i have noticed one thing, (normal server), The power has been spread around more, there is no single group of players or indervidual that is the strongest in the game (this is because ALL THE GREAT PLAYERS HAVE LEFT).........

A good question would be, why have they left?.
The reason is, GC is getting worst and worst...
Personally i don`t care to much about game rebalancing, exctra
(i liked it the way it was)...

There where a few features, all of them i liked :), but now THEY ARE BEING REMOVED, this means that GC the game which once involved skill, where only the most skilled player could play, has now turned into a game that a I.Diot could play........

Thanks guyz, you need the game to change. Make it more easy eh ;), carnt beat me, so you change the game, so its easier ;).....

saga... also there won`t be any immediate result on the market, that doesn`t mean that removing the list won`t positively affect the market... fixing the gc market to function properly is not an overnight thing... removing the list is not a fix for the market... just a step in the right direction.

lmao... completely agree w/ you HB... i am glad it`s gone... i`ve been on that list numerous times... as soon as i hit it i have people on here (mostly vets) PMing me warning me that i`m on the list... i`ve been spammed plenty of times when i`m on that list loosing 100`s of billions simply becasue someone wants to use up their dineros... personally I don`t keep above 50 billion in cash and i spend the rest in minerals... right now i easily have over 150-200 mill of each mineral, why you ask? Hmm... let`s think of why? Is it just cuz i wanna see the market bare? I believe not! It`s b-cuz i know how many m0rons there are out there that will hit me with dineros simply cuz i`m on that list...

I`m with you HB, the first decent thing to happen to GC in quite some time...

and yeah Mac... people will be more hesitant to Dinero spam you if they don`t know for sure that you have hundreds of billions + on hand.

Saga... just because the people willing to post rubbish about how they don`t like it`s removal in the forum doesn`t mean that`s the overwhelming consent... the majority of active GC players aren`t posting here and i believe i`m speaking for a great number of them as well... though i could be wrong, just my opinion.

Dreamland... yeah when you spend money purely to stay off of some list because you`re afraid of getting it all wasted by some arti`s... that list becomes not only annoying but useless to the majority and does not recognize you as being "better" or "richer" because nobody knows who is richest as the truly richest empires have their stock tied up into Minerals and whatnot... so yeah it`s pointless and is mainly used by arti spammers to know who has the most cash they can waste.

I agree with HB, the rich list being removed is great. Its much better to have to gather intel on peoples cash and mineral stocks, and stops people dinero spamming accurately...

HB actually it does, it was my goal to be on top of rich list but then i realized about grand dineros and quickly spent all cash on minerals :P

H.B i think if u look over the majority of the posts the overwhelming opinion is that the removal of the Rich List is a bad move.
I`ve been watching the mineral market and i see no difference in fact removal of the list will only take away one more reason for people to become aminer which will in fact hurt the mineral market .
TO me the appeal to this game from the beginning was the various way people could play this game , while it is basically a fighting game , you could aim for different things such as the Rich List , or some people like to just explore , or some like to carry planets , some like to have a arsenal of artifacts at their disposal , whatever u like to do its different for everone and how others choose to play THEIR game shouldn`t be looked down on by anyone .
I was on top of the rich list once and i rather enjoyed seeing my name at the top , people are funny that way they like to see their name up in lights . and just because you dont find it useful or interesting doesnt matter ,most people do and that is reflected in the posts

I say of a few of the people on the RIch List are complaining about artifacts being used against them i say its a small price to pay so others can have a meaningful goal to work towards .

the advantage of miner`s making a lot more money is that they have more money to spend... not to get on a list... i`m sorry but if the most enjoyable part of this game is to inch or make your way up the rich list then maybe you should find a different game to play that suits more what you`re looking for. the rich list was hardly a feature and really doesn`t add much to the game as a whole.

HB... there are so few features in this game... there is nearly nothing at all to do...

So each feature that we lose is greeted with great concern and disappointment.

To you the goal of the game may be to spend your time "on fleet, fighting, exploring and whatnot... " but acquiring money is also fun. You ever play A. miner? A very entertaining part of that race (perhaps the only entertaining thing) is to watch as you inch your way up that list. An a.miners disadvantages on the field of battle are inarguable... people are always complaining of no minerals but is it any surprise when being an a. miner is about as fun as eating grass?

Uber i don`t only play RT FYI.
and i`m not saying the removal of the list benefits everyone... just that it brings about more positive then negative results.

Having the rich list does not add any strategy to the game whatsoever... if you have more money then others good for you... the point of making money is not to have more then others it is to spend on fleet, fighting, exploring and whatnot... get over the fact that you can`t compare with the "richest" empires if you will.

As for helping only botters... that`s just a ridiculous statement... many empires i know work long and hard to get on that list only to be spammed with major dineros by a "botter" who worked very little to make the arti`s which destroyed so much work in a very short period of time. So if anything having the list helps botters. and also it helps mostly botters compare the amount of cash they have saved up.

So if the only negative thing from removing the list is a few people here and there are upset because they can't see who has what cash and can't get their name on the list then I say that's a very small price to pay and the benefits of removing it are much greater.

The rich list was immensely useful for Intel, and a great way to show of your acheivements. But appearantly there are people who dislike said positives.

I`m yet to hear a good reason for it`s removal.

You know HB as far as I know u are a purely RT player. Well, RT is just one server... out of a total of 5... so if u RT punks want the Richest Empires list taken away for some bizarre reason then w/e but leave the other servers alone. You`re an i.diot if u think its removal benefits us at all.

Minimal game changes also mean fewer bugs to fix that come from new features. This gives more consistent game play.
