Literally as I type this Arab news sources have reported through CNN that Saddam Hussein has been executed. This is just before 10:00 P.M US Eastern Time and 6:00 A.M. in Iraq. I repeat Saddam Hussein is dead.

by the way, the reason Saddam was executed so quick.
Was because if he is executed in 2006, in 2007 it`s last years news ;)
so his followers, don`t go mad so much (it`s pysciological)

well thats why i think it was so quick :D

Yeah well....... A martyr? You have to have more support than that.....

There will be violence and killing in his name until some other not-smart gets the power. At which point in time everyone will forget who saddam was and they will kill in the name of the new guy.

well, the current iraqi leadership surely knows how to screw up things.....not only create a martyr, but also make the juridical handling of his numerous other crimes impossible....

Well Saddams death well have much worse Killings in Iraq that was a VERY BAD move.........
