Saddam Hussein Executed!!!

Literally as I type this Arab news sources have reported through CNN that Saddam Hussein has been executed. This is just before 10:00 P.M US Eastern Time and 6:00 A.M. in Iraq. I repeat Saddam Hussein is dead.

wonder how much the oil is worth down there and how much any oil-depending country (as the US) would pay to get more controll on it than Saddam was willing to give?

Well I do not like Bush or Saddam when he ruled. If the US-short term rule of Iraq's money, had been spend on what it should have been. The people of Iraq might have been thankful, for getting rid of Saddam. But the money was just handed over to a bunch of gready people that wanted profit and did not care if they made what they promissed.
They used up 100.000.000.000 $ in a year and close to none of that have helped the population to a better life, so can't really blame the people for there hate.

People should really be more helpful and understanding towards each other :-)

well under most definitions if you have a normal democratic governemnt giving fair rights to everyone (or as fair as fair gets) and people start blowing people up and trying to take control of the government i would call them terrorists, now with governments jailing innocent people and gassing there own towns if someone was fighting them I`d call them a freedom fighter so I don`t know where these freaky definitions that those are 1 in the same are coming from.....

Saddam asked to be shot instead, but the US-lead decisionmakers down there didnt allow it, they found it cooler to execute him in a more old fashion way.

Most people in middle east think Bush is a more evil/bad person than Saddam. Is it worse to attack/tortur terrorists in your own country (the term used my Saddam on some people in Northern Iraq) than Terrorists in other countries (the term used by Bush about Saddam). Your terrorist can be my fighter of freedom and the other way. Bush is ordering terrible things against prisoners and those he calles terrorists, so what is making his hands so much cleaner than Saddams? Should we execute all leaders in all countries we dont like because they have given orders to do terrible things? Sure, Saddam controlled too much oil - so sure, he should be executed, we all agrees on that :P

yeah but bush at least didn`t want the deaths or didn`t know they would occur he never tried wiping out an ethnic minority or attack villages with nerve gas or even attend torturings and have them taped so he could laugh at them later. That is all I have to say...

Its kind of interesting that Saddam got more supporters in Iraq than Bush got supporters in the US. Bush got more innocent lifes on his hands than Saddam, and still its decided that Saddam is the evil dictator and have to be executed as he has the responsibility for lots of killing. Funny how the history always is written by the strongest and often most dirty hands around....

I love fighting and I want a world like spacefed. Where everyone aimed for the Ultimate Weapon to destroy the galaxy......! Where Stephen is God who makes the rules and can stop everything if just his wife is giving him time to do so. I am tired and should go to bed before I am suspended for talking politics in here.

yeah they filmed it but all they showed was the executioners putting the noose on him then they had a photo of him lying dead on a table that was all I saw them show....
