i`m starting of as terran. do you know what combo of houses, commercial, mining, research, and agricultual i should invest starting turn in that is the most efficient?

depends on what you wanna do , some people go 100% comercial and buy there own food
some do about 90% comercial and 10% agri to produce there own food and make lots of cash
then some go 100% agriculture and sell food on the market ( its a little more tricky and only a more experienced player should try )
some even go 100% housing or mining
terran have reasonable stats for most things , but doing the missions and going commerce is probably the easiest way for a starting player

do 1-2 ag everything commerical , keep only large land planets 800 or better. do the missions thay will help. check out stratagy for terran guide that wiill help allso
