With deep regret we have disabled this feature mainly because a small group of players are abusing this feature, mainly using it to destroy federations (termed as anaboliking). We are currently working on GC 1.07 that once done will offer more support for federation, so stay tune.
Reminder:
Only the leader can approve new applicants. Also careful when approving members with high power rating as they may elect themself as the leader, overthrowing the existing leader.

i loved that feature :(,
was involved in 3 feds, one of them got anaboliked,
one of them, helped in a hostile take over cos the leader was a newbie,
and the other time, was when i wanted a fed :P
LOL

I wish stephen would bring it back, it was so much more fun !

Hmmm forgot that the leader can just kick every member and then do it, but if the feature don't work with less then 10 members, then that part should be solved too.

For Fed's that want to be terminated, with less members it should be done by Admin's.

Not that I liked that feature, but it was part of the game and should have been fixed and not removed.
It could have been fixed. If a leader could only terminate the Fed. if the biggest part of the members had accepted it and for that it should not matter how many planets each member have, if the main part of the members want the Fed. a leader should not have the power to terminate it. Gues that would have solved the problems without removing the feature, but what do I know.

It was one of the best features of the game, making Fed leaders accountable. Nothing gets added or fixed just removed. (I haven`t donated since).
