Client Enabling?

I`ve downloaded the client .zip file and put it in the default directory (would have preferred under Program Files, but oh well). One time the game enabled the client, but then after that it won`t recognize that it`s there. Why not?

hmm, so its under C:\GC\GC and you have unzipped it right?
but another reason might be becuase you deleted the cookie you had that recongized you had the client since receivng it, so lower your cookier blocker some, and try enabling, log off and back on, and see if it works
