New Speed Suggestion

Basically, it would be a really fast paced server. A turn per second, storage of 20. DP lasts 15 minutes. Going continuously, so when you log out you`ll most likely have to start over as far as your planets go. I think that way, it would be more balanced as far as top and bottom empires cash goes, and it would be funner than RT as far as fighting. Maybe add a couple bots to just build random ships and 500 land balanceds for beating them, just as a perk. Opinions anyone?

yeah sounds like DM..and then make it like everybody is required to restart after a couple of hours so nobody gets that high up in research levels..and turn the server off once in a while..so it doesnt lagg the other servers..what a great idea.

Keep adding your ideas for improvement, I`ll write up a completer list of them as we go.. so far we have

1 turn per second
20 turn storage
15 minute DP
possibly bots
mineral supplies


BS we`d probably want to have it on new hardward, seperate from the others because it will need a lot of bandwidth and storage space probably. DC and SD, perhaps making it so all empires can die? maybe add exploration to the maru and coll as well? Not sure about that idea... AC it would be basically, but faster, and ongoing. That was the biggest purpose, to have somewhere like a "Blitz Server" for fighting full bore.

oh yeah..races that die will hate it..there wont be terrans and a.miners who keeps lotsa planets, to steal borders from..lol!

oooooooh me likes that idea...but another server would just make the game even more laggy :\ not like GC needs anymore lag to be frank.. :\ sick idea tho :)

it`ll be a galaxy of mostly 1 planet empires hiding below 5000k..more realistic than colonizing thousands of planets and still finding gazillions of other empires with thousands of planets..
it`ll be more balanced..yes.
it`ll be like hell whenever you go out of dp.
yeah I like it.

yea, but make sure theres a mineral bot since lotsa 1 planet miners dont make much
