Since Lothor & AlphaCentauri brought it up, all pensioners/veterans (3 year olds) please post here and treat yourself to a beer. Let the players of GC and Stephen know who you are. We have continued to be GC because of all of you.

We have shown our love (or is it addiction ;]) for the game. Many of you have tried and completed UWs. Others have brought feds to the top from the bottom. Some have introduced their friends to spacecrack. Some have been guides and admins.
Some have donated and bought paid accounts. Others have obtained them by maintaining the GC economy. Some have been loyal members of their federations, others have been saboteurs, anabolikers or/and banned.

You have made GC interesting and worth playing.

I urge you to post here to show Stephen who we are so we will once again see GC develop to future peaks.

hmm i almost forgotten about the sector thingy that phoenix brought up, hell now i remember i usually look for targets within my sector to be able to hit using 3 turns, but even if that still exist, i doubt i could find someone from the same sector with me..

I started when i was bothering during classes. Now i have completly stopped GC and only come back from time to time, checking if the aliens bring back stephen so that he can finally make the update.

i started somewhere round the summer of 2003 on normal server.
Dang man those good times when gc was soo freakin populated and noone knew how to fight or stack ( including myself) then suddenly i was suspended untill the deletion of my account. that was bullz junk

AC no Angel is a totally new name... i`ve had 1,2,3,4,5,6 different names so ya i guess that does help lol.... plus i`ve had 1,2,3,4 RT accounts... im Thankful they dont Delete accounts anymore... thats nice feature...

I actually made my first account ~April 2003 (Solusar got me hooked) when GC was still in beta. Then, I went away for summer vacation and my account got deleted (back then if you went away for a few weeks, your account got deleted). I actually forgot about GC until school started and Solusar got me hooked again...and I`ve been here ever since.

Some interesting things I`ve been a part off:

1st ever UW on Normal (DomainofPain is a RL friend of mine)
Introduction of marauders (the requirement was that you needed to have 2 c2`s lol...back then 1 c2 was considered to be godly)
When Stephen actually played his normal account
Terra Nova Alliance (one of the oldest feds in GC)
When you actually had to research minerals
When there was only one market for all of the servers (This was esp. abused by some players)
When paid accounts and the forums did not exist
When there were sectors (if someone was in your sector..it only took 3 turns to attack them instead of the 5)

Ahh..the memories. Hopefully Stephen hasn`t given up on GC...I would hate to see this game die out.
