I never said server rereshes. I said time, just like dp lasts for 24 hours now.

Nice but you know how many server refreshs there are in a day & if someone wants you dead & you dont sign on the whole day you could be dead at the end of it...

Obviously it would be insane if it worked that way angel. The souloution would be to simply limit how many can be used on a single empire in a given period of time.

save up 10 of those to kill a viral Guard or whatever you wanted to.... might be fun taking someones C3s & killing their empire of 200+ research but you know 50cent you dont like the idea of it happening to you... people would seriously use it as a legal cheat for planets & killing people & it kinda beats Damage Protection totaly

Damage Protection is suppose to be secure like you bank account.

They could be given out as awards for accomplishing certain things. Mabey 100 battle victories = 1 artifact. But loof does make a point, buying artifacts would have to go before this idea was implemented.

Without U larges guards would be a terrible race to play as, Its hard enough to make a good income and without them you would only have a newb hunting race that strip mined all the time.

this idea stinks. perphaps one that cut dp in half could be ok...but well all in all atifacts should be deleted, so that people that knew how to fight were the ones that did good, and the newbies that only dig and buy artis would get ownd...remove U.class too of course

I would also propose that player have a small window of time between when the artifact is used on them and when they actually loose dp so that they have time to react and build a fleet to defend themself.

I like the idea, but obviously there need to be some tweaks to it. Obviously collectives and maruaders would have to be immune, otherwise those races would become impossible. Also, there would need to be a limit on how many times you could hit the same empire with this artifact in one day.

I like the idea of keeping players on their toes. Imagine if someone is harrasing one of your fed mates. Right now all you can do is make empty threats. With this artifact, you could force that player out of dp and actually do some damage.

i am against such things anyway it threatens GC. Some vets might even leave with their empire crushed to bits. Not only that sombody could just wait for you to get on use one and attack you out of the blue without you knowing it until its to late.

now thats right have enough of those and you could kill virals off,Collectives, Guardian, and marauders that don`t hid in Np. Thats not all by killing off there empire they worked so hard to build would be gone all that time researching wasted. Then some would say whats the point of being a Viral, Collective, Guardian or maruder.Most will have few planets the game would be very different.

Thats a completly lame idea..ya, lets be able to get attacked have our borders taken, then in less than a minuter have another set of borders taken, then 30 secs later have our very hard earned cluster(s) taken without being able to do anything. You think this a good idea why?
