Bad event here at home

I`m am genuinely upset to here of your Mother shibumi. I`ve been away in London today and come back to see you`ve had a force restart for botting. After reading this thread and from my past experience with you, I have to say to everyone that for now Im on shibumi`s side. I really could not believe this guy could be botting, i`ve personally seen him on this game for so many hours being responsive and whatever, hes just on this thing all the time! The guy himself is a machine lol. Until I see some proof, (and I doubt Pandy would actually take this action without some evidence) I doubt very much you were botting mate.

Its very sad to see a great empire who poses a challenge everytime he climbs the ranks and an empire that brings alot of life and gameplay to the game taken away like this. I can undertand how alot of the time you can be to busy to answer PMs for various reasons, and I think this method of identifiying botters isn`t sound at all.

Then I see you`ve for some reason tried to drag DISTEMPER into this and talk about an UW you were planning... To even claim Pandy is in any way supporting dist is ridiculous. I really don`t think that was very respectable to bring to the table.

How do we handle this botting issue once and for all?. Instead of spending all this time and accusations trying to stop botting, why not incorporate it? I was thinking of a system where you could put your account into a bot mode for say x hours, and the system would use turns for you on say research, but you would generate turns at a much slower rate, but none the less get to put turns to use that you wouldn`t normally get to use... Maybe this is somthing to be looked into because as it stands I think we have a very sketchy, uneffective way of preventing botting and indentifying it. Its unfair that there will be people out there getting away with it, while shibumi has been punished... And if hes indeed innnocent this is even worse. shib, about the uw, it`s not that i don`t think you`re capable... i know for a fact that BC and or M|K are incapable of properly defending a real (non-KZ) uw and you`re not welcome in any other large feds so i don`t think that you stand a chance doing a uw. nothing personal or anything.

Shibumi i didn`t say you cheat or anyone else... i stick up for you and then you turn around and accuse me of cheating... this is exactly what i`m talking about... why don`t you go tell admins that i have multi`s and tell them to look into it if you`re so concerned... i`m sure you probably have already... you just go around accusing people of cheating and trying to get them in trouble even though you have no proof at all and they are all false accusations... that`s just uncalled for if you ask me.

I`m not saying it is fair or should have happened by any means... just a bit ironic eh.

alright...instead of punishing botters, how about we just upgrade your antibotting system, as gc doesnt have 1. the uc antibotting system is out of date too and completely bipassable so im not complaining about no gc up and uc got 1 blah blah blah, but noone likes a botter/cheater and it wouldnt be hard to make gc almost unbottable.

did you not read my first post below about how this is unfair and sticking up for you and anyone else that gets in trouble this way... all i`m saying is you tried having this done to many other people which is not fair at all and boom it happens to you, ouch that`s got to hurt.

but you report people who don`t bot... you don`t have prove you just have a hunch and then you go and tell admins to look into it and get them in trouble because they simply didn`t answer the admin`s pm which you cause to be sent and then they get in trouble for the exact same thing you did... not everyone you`ve reported bots and yet you`ve still got many in trouble... as you`ve read below i disagreee with these methods of the admins and how they respond to the situation... i`m just saying if you go around trying to get others in trouble even when they aren`t cheating then hey it`s gonna come your way eventually.

oh and your uw would have been killed even if you didn`t restart... and if i`m still around in 2 years, it will be killed at that time as well.

Though i do have to not one thing.
Shibumi, even though i don`t believe in karma... i still believe that since you`ve attempted to report so many for botting even though you didn`t know they were for sure... you accused and had admins look into it which could have got them in trouble even if they weren`t botting, maybe they didn`t answer their pm`s for very good reason also and then got suspended or restarted because of your complaint... so in a way yeah you had it coming mate.

I`ve always felt that it is extremely LAME to send pm`s and give someone 5 minutes or some set period of time to respond... and then accusing and even punishing them for not responding... saying that they cheat and this and that... I understand that botting is hard to prove most of the time and they have not too many ways to stop people or catch them and so they came up with this idea... but this is no excuse to go around PMing people and punishing them for not responding... i answer pm`s whenever i feel like it... i`m not a social person, i even ignore fedmates and family and everyone at times because i don`t like to be in communication with people all the time and sometimes I'm extremely busy working or studying... that is the beauty of GC that you can research or build or whatever you like as you're doin many other things as you just have to click once in a while.. i ignore pm`s and the chat nearly all the time and i almost always use MSN when i can... so yeah the short of the long is this is very very very very veryveryvery very very UNFAIR to anyone and everyone that`s played this game so long to threaten taking their accounts and even do so just because they can`t or choose not to respond to a pm... just because we`re playing GC doesn`t freakin mean we need to talk to everyone and read or respond to ANY pm`s if we don`t want to... it`s just plain BS!!
