Miner Improvement Ideas...

I`m just curious to know what someone of the many ideas out there are to improve miners. Of course, the general idea is to double all the weapons on every ship lol

One idea I thought of to deal with the irritating missile spamming I combat as a miner on the fast server would be to give the M. Lakko some guns... I mean come on - what kind of ship has a .03 weapon to power ratio o.O ? It`s got the range to handle the P. class ships - it just needs the firepower.

Yeah I definitely like the idea of improved starbases... make miners stronger but not too much stronger on offense but make them be scary hard to attack =D

If you just made all miner starbases non retal you would see a world of diffrence

yes they would still lose but probally only 1 border before recieving dp

well first of all lakkos range should be lowered to 15 whats the idea of it having a range thats 5 higher than thor?? (of course its only 4, but well +1 on defence) the current range only makes it pr more silly.
most miner ships need to get a lower scanner rating too to lower pr.
a few of their ships should get a big shield improvement especially the lyth and the lictor. if you compare the lictor with the herc its just well argh who the hell made this game?

Personally, improved starbases is a must, since miners are supposed to be defensive, after all. They should have the equivalent of a nirv or pyth starbase, that`d be interesting. Can`t be used for attacks, but a deadly defense.

Nonsense. The miners don`t need improving. Lost to this guy 3 times in a row, when he had 1 kyro.
