GC Poll: Buying Artifacts

EvilLoof I might be wrong, but then your Fed. on Slow, can thank All the extra turns you are using, to the vote option. Because your Fed. have a new A. miner that would have taken month to build to that lvl. without heavy use of Time Capsules.
When I started it was a fair for all game, but now a days it has like any other games I've tried, turned into a wallets game.
I like games where there is no cheaters and you need skills to be good and that part have been going in the drain.

It might be a good way to earn some money with the arties, but still think it kill's the joy of the game.

i doubt anyone ever bought arti`s at slow but i may be wrong, currently No one at the top of slow even bought paid paid accounts, we only win em in dm`s.... i know that alot of arti sales happen at ultra where im currently fighting a viral that keep`s spending tons of turns instantly(not having any great luck keeping getting an unpaid, artiless guard down thou:P).

I do not care if you have a paid acc. even I has 1 and it help a little to get the game going.
The problem is that you can buy your way to the top of Slow if your wallet is big enough.
Each BTC. is about 2 days of turns, so each time you buy BTC's for Slow, you have stored more then 6 days of turns for unpaid and more then 5 days for paid.
And the Regalo's save you from digging and that also save turns and turns are a big factor on Slow.
Sorry but buying artifacts for Slow really mess it up and so do that vote option. I really liked this game, but the way it has turned, makes me leave when my paid ends.

It's not that I'm a bad loser, I just want to keep things fair and that balance is going in to the endless pits.

I feel thats a way for non credit card players to get a paid, sure it will create an unbalance situation but which popular mmorpg doesnt have item trading with real cash to get awsome avatars?

Considering the gas price today, 500k gas is too much =)

why ? lol... well i think arti`s should be taken out of the game at least on slow servers....many of us have proven multiple times how they unbalance the game without buying any...and yes paying them makes it even worse imo...but sure mess up rt all you like with artis :) and sell gordo`s to people that want to use all of their salary making a 500 k gas i dont care lol...but yea probably not gonna get us updates quicker heh

I dont really have that much of a problem with buying artifacts because they really do not do that much...

and lets make it possible to buy ships for real money, and planets, and minerals, and that you can edit your win/loss statistics, and....

Every time, some advantage can be buyed for real money, the game dies a little bit more....

i think if it went anywhere it`d go to server fees, it can cost a bit to maintain servers, esepcialy for online games, then again i could be very wrong :/

I don`t really see a problem with it, most artifacts that are bought for paids are just gordos anyways which don`t really effect the other empires anyway. Plus it allows younger people who don`t make much money have a chance at playing a paid race
