STRANGE SIGNALS REPORTED

Long-range monitoring stations have begun reporting unusual signals originating from Atbasar Reach, a remote region of space well beyond most established colonial routes.

The first reports were dismissed as interference. Since then, several independent stations have detected the same signals.

The transmissions are weak and intermittent, and so far do not match any known Terran, Marauder, Guardian, Collective, Viral, or Aspha communication systems.

At this time, there have been no reported attacks or missing vessels, and there is no evidence to suggest the signals are hostile.

Still, ships traveling near Atbasar Reach are being advised to use caution until we know more.

A long-range reconnaissance mission has been dispatched to investigate the source.
