Update communication

Dear developers of this game.

I find it highly frustrating that basic vital things change in this game without any communication at all.

When the game mechanics change you should make an update that communicate this change in the game.

My point was that the Ren and BW should up their game a bit and run this slightly more professionally... The fact that they haven`t even bothered commenting here tells everything about the current state.

🤦‍♂️ So I buy 1.5tril worth of food at 4 and post it at 6 and now it’s back and forward all of a sudden?! Drama. And what because Ank and I can afford to buy out the entire market it’s ok for guardians to profit from it?

Agree with PP. post it here rather than a discord chat group or post it in both.

No point posting updates in a chat where you get kicked from for every little finger pointed at jj. You have made that chat room yours, quite an achievement. “Moderator” of the gc official chat room 👏🏻 Not to mention you threaten quite a few people with in game bans over talk on a public chat. You are doing your job perfectly jj.

Guards cant eat food... they can buy food. So now they can do market transfers again to feed them cash from a rich miner/terran.

I dont think it was ever communicated to the community - it was just a quick decision from BW because JJ whined about it.

Totally agreed with PP here. Some changes arent even posted in discord (ie, guards being allowed to eat food).

Some of us have been playing this game for... more than a decade, lol. And during that time updates have been communicated on this forum. I guess there are still many not on discord, who would like to see the updates presented here as well.

Most games have a separate page with the update/patch notes. What PP is saying then is link it here like the discord post. Discord is not considered by most game companies a place where final updates are communicated. Most game developers use forums as their method to communicate updates.

Plenty of games don`t display their updates and changes in game. Actually a ton of games that make people go look up specific patch notes online.

Wow classic doesn`t even make forum posts when they drop a whole new phase, they just drop it.

Thats fine - you have a discord club...

But any serious internet game should make in-game communication when updates happen.
