is it better to stack ships with longer ranges in the front or the back?

well i personally went with range 9 ships infront at low (below 1 mill) pr`s as miner (chlorites, epidotes and broadswords) at equal pr with 7 dummy stacks (1 fodder, 1 runner...etc) and had the range 9`s equal pr...workled pretty good defensivly...

on offence its ok to have some high range in front but all it seems better atm to have high hulled ships there too to try to hold off spammers that atre plaguing the servers atm...

so i would suggest a fodder stack (large or small) then range 8-9 ship (maybe even queens to hit those terran and maru big ships around a bit :P) then another fodder stack then the rest of it with the higher range ships near the bottom to wipe out the opponents dummy stacks in the first wave and hence give them a free hit on the top stacks in the second wave

hope that helps a little...

just remember high range ontop for defence is a good idea..as is high hull ships...just reverse it for offensive unless u know wat ur facing
