Alright next level gamers, how do you guys pronouce your ships, more specifically the Lyth and Pyth.

So, ive played this game since i was a 9thgrade in highschool. Lots of friends played with me so we chatted about it. And through out the years it has always stuck.

Pyth, pronounced, Pie-th, like Python
Marauder ships are water based, snakes can swim anacondas pythons use rivers makes sense to us.

NOW the lyth, we pronounced the lyth like

lith, for example Lithium, A.miner ships are rocks n minerals and sht, and my boy roflmancer is a geologist, and we all agree its pronouced lith

Now fellas how do you pronouce Lyth, Pyth?

Lyth I pronouce as lith
However I don`t agree with Pyth...I pronounce it as Pith

Well, I`m with Sphere. I`ve been pronouncing all these that same way as him since I was 11.

@AM - had various RL friends over the years, or been in voice with other GC players it can come up. It`s always hilarious.

I`ve always pronounced those the same way as well. But Tourms I just realised I`ve been pronouncing them as "Turm-a-line" as in Turn.

What have you just done to me my life is a complete lie :(

I`ve always called lyth lith. And pyth pith but I can see why pie-th makes sense. Now how do you say tourm?

Haha best thread. I was so nervous reading, was pretty sure I was going to find out everyone was pronouncing them in some horrible way. Sphere those are exactly how I pronounce them! :D
