nobody should get compensation. your investing time in a game, you should expect to lose everything you have spent your time on. its a game.... and if u spent money on gordos then thats your own dumb fault when there part of a game that u can make them for FREE by playing the game

Implementation of server changes only is not possible right now. It might be possible but it requires a-lot of code work and then its not a sure thing it could still break GC because well stephen`s code.
2nd If we wait to find out about if the can be done safely for each server GREAT but it means months extra time of waiting for a update.
3rd Pick something to nerf. Don`t go BR, Hull, PR, Artifacts and Land and go people will be compensated with in game things.

If you have alot of artifacts on all servers, like a few do, you lower artifact cap to say 100 each, Nerf total land and limit loyalty how do you get compensated enough for having a few 100 k land.

Before you say guard only I know some tax virals have 100`s of k of land as well.

So how do you compensate all if they have huge land already, take away or lower storage of artifacts and limit loyalty.

With paids? 5 years or more worth on each account? If so paids need to get you alot more benefits. Would everyone want 5 years paids? I doubt it.

Pick one thing to nerf 2 not all or no compensation will make up for the loss

I think what we really need is to be able to implement ship modifications and adjustments on each individual server because I think tb will get the short end of the stick with a br Nerf.

I am slightly intrigued by your idea Asmo concerning taking away Guardian sb and changing it into a ship. I`d really like to see a few designs if you decide to draw them up.

Maybe for RT, but not for TB (Guards alone do not take down UW`s, it is more miners/terrans/virals that do) Guards only can do surgical strikes because cash mainly and if they have c3s, good luck on targets so have to be careful on attacks. This is an RT issue, not a TB issue and trying to adjust RT would make TB guard almost pointless to play but for the rare occassions it makes sense.

You don`t need to buff every other race either, there are only 1 race that need a buff in my opinion (miner), the rest can handle a guard if those races have the cash to do it. A symptom of an OP guard is not their ships, its their income, take that away and you can easily keep a guardian in check on any server.

Well theres 2 options.

Game staff treats the game like staff in any other game - something that is and always should be ever changing and being updated and balanced, and just changes it and players stay or they leave. The fact that players have invested into a broken system shouldnt prevent it from being fixed.

A handful of players here who wouldnt take any in game compensation and I cant fathom a world in which real cash is given as compensation.

And that would explain the over population of guards, and underpopulation of maru and collective then.
