Bit of Sad News

Hey Guys and Gals and all in-between,

Got a bit of bad news that came in yesterday. Some of you may have seen Wisemanchild come into chat requesting a PM from people who knew HoneyBucket. BadWolf responded and at that time was informed that HoneyBucket had passed away on Oct 21st.

There`s no real easy way to break the news, and without an old friend of HB`s logging into the game and letting us know I don`t believe we`d ever really know. Below is a link to an obituary for our good friend.

Oh dear, rest in peace Honeybucket. You won`t know this but i used the name Honeybucket as my username for a variety games back then because i thought it was a really nice name.

Very sad to hear of this especially for someone so young. Had my battles with him over the years but always had my respect.

You know when Yoshi was mean to me, and a few other members of CC Hb Stood up for me, taught me about how to stay focused in school and remain goal oriented.

This is like a shock I have learned so much from Hb when I started to play this game. We had pur up`s and down`s over the years but I always considering him a friend in this game.

Very sad indeed, that’s way to early to end a life. I didn’t know HB very well, fought him when he was around in CC many years ago but never really talked to him.

HB was a great leader and true gentlemen. We have been enemy fighting each other pulling our fed down the rank and also have chance to work together pulling other fed down the rank and stopping uw together. He always have the ability to unite his fed and make it the most active in the rank and while doing so still being very friendly to his opponents. I will miss the convo which I have with him.

I played very briefly with HB, but I did talk to him because, well, he was so darn friendly and always was willing to listen. Not enough people like that in the world.

I didn`t know him like you guys did, but I would still like to pay my respects.

RIP Derek, I`ll miss the long, weird conversations of absolutely no point. Those were some of the best ones I`ve had here.

That truly sucks and my sympathies go out to his family. HB was a great guy to play with and will be sorely missed. The CC days were the best time I`ve had in GC and were my most active because of the people I played with.

Sad to hear about this and how it happened. What is even worse was I was working on a proposed project with a friend of mine for his company that wouldn`t have gone through without his help.

RIP Derek.

On a side note with both labrat and HB gone, I hope every other CC`er is doing well I hope.

All the love to HBs family. He was a great man to talk to my first years on the game and true gentleman. Indeed very sad news :(

Anyone who spoke with him, even just on GC, knows he was a pretty amazing guy. It didn`t matter if you were friend or foe, or if he didn`t even know you. He was always happen to listen, and I knew him to give a lot of great advice over the years to many people.

To a good old friend, and our fearless leader, you will be missed.
