For the past few weeks i have been hitting NPC`s (over 300) and have observed the following

NPC`s do a great deal of spamming below 3 million power.

NPC`s when wiped out and 3 colonies are taken, seldom give anything good.

Winning against the NPC under 5 million power is extremely difficult for tax empires and empires with high pop

List any other observations anyone have observed

Ive been doing k and g with dummies. Never win 3 but usually win 1 or 2.

I`ve observed that the best strategy against the NPC`s is to build 3-4 stacks with range 8 or 9 and go aggressive. Build dummies that is strong enough to kill the weak dummies NPCs build.

They were super nice the first day. Once they got to a higher pr because people kept winning on them solid wins became harder. Already relatively rare good planets became even rarer.

I have observed that I don`t win anything good on 3 colony wins. However, I managed to win a great c2 attacking on normal and winning two colonies. Very strange

Guardian ships arent the issue with winning 3 even with depopping. I think the 150% +/- ship fleet based upon wins/losses kind of hurts when trying to stack attack them for a 3 win. Sure I could 4/5 strong stack and win 1 or 2, but to win 3 I am not using many guard ships and attacking aggressive on some races.

Depop helps some. But it is very difficult to win 3 below 5 mil. As a guard, fighting low pr is difficult even when depopped. Your ships are very large...

NPC`s have 0 pop and also have that PR range that BW and EE mentioned.

Id say you could always depop, but in attempting to do so the game froze so i refreshed and now my C4 has 0 housing assigned.

So nah, I wouldnt try depopping.
