Lol everyone thinks they have great ideas of how GC could be better. But since any explosions would just come out as text data on this game I don`t share your enthusiasm. Terrans have a super long range missile ship (the P. Thor) which ou could consider a bomber. And the juggernaught is a pretty big ship. Plus their fighter isn`t half bad if ou consider its stats, especially that ECM mod.
