Talking with fed members on Normal speed, we think that a good way to boost players on the turn based servers would be to change the ratio of decent planets from exploring. So planet size and U class chances go up, small rubbish with no ore and X.class goes down.
Having to explore for 6 months in addition to doing research is just not great and puts people of.
As the exploration applies to all players it would also benefit existing empires, as apposed to new player bonus`, so everyone wins.
Thoughts?
How hard is it to change this in the code, since we have it available?
