I know there are a lot of you out there eager to help with GC. We`d like all those who would like to volunteer their services to post in the HC under “Join us as a volunteer” we could use help with all facets of GC, including Html work, to writing guides and missions making images or what ever else.
Right now though, we`re only looking for people with experience with html5, css3, and javascript ideally.. basically you`d help with redesigning the front end of GC and forum, you could work in groups if you wish, but please provide us with a sampling of your work when you post. Not all posts may be replied to, however all will be reviewed. Basically overtime i`m mostly rewriting the code base for GC, and this includes the forum. One of the more major improvements will be incorporating my own style based framework in the rewriting, and this framework is built for allowing multiple styles to exist with the capability of doing anything with a page beyond just css/js changes. To put it frankly rewriting GC even to just fix the issues that it has (It is a 12-13 year old code base at this point) is nothing short of a monumental task. I currently don`t have a ton of time day to day, so with that it probably will not be quick for the following updates but rest assured we will get there none the less.
As for everything else, we`re not currently looking but it would be nice to have a list of willing people by the time we do, also feel free to work on guides, missions and the like as well though just keep in mind some of things would be subject to change so you may have to rework everything.
