UW - Ultra, Wingmut

I`ve done it while working sixty hours a week and going to school full time (in the past). It sucks (as I`ve already said, being a Chicagoan), but that`s what you get for playing a game drunkenly coded by someone on the other side of the globe.

We can`t change it, we`ve never been able to change it. So why cry about it now? Set the alarm clock earlier or get over it.

@ Trav - Sure. Let me just get up at 5:30 am several days a week for the express purpose of digging for a game. I`m not so invested in GC that I am willing to sacrifice my career and livelihood to stop the same few people from UW`ing pointlessly. Would be fine if it didn`t kill the servers.

the game is probably not hosted on its own server, it is probably a shared server, or else yes the clock could be changed.

No code changing, just change the clock. Fast forward 12 hrs every six months or so.

Would you want tonrisk stephen changigg any of the code brotherhood? It could get messy :P

You mean to tell me we cant change that game clock? Just a simple 12 hour am/pm switch every now and again would work right? No touching code that way.

That`s Stephen only territory, as per the last 2.9 trillion times it was previously discussed.

can we randomise the dig times?

Randomized dig times would be helpful, but remember- Plenty of us have accomplished quite a bit despite having the absurd, early morning digs. It`s not a be-all, end-all.

God, I knew quite a few fellow Americans and Canucks with outright ridiculous arti reserves.

Brotherhood, I log in 4 times a day, but my terran empire is not so good and it is hard to take a server buy myself.

oh, guess it did go off since my account shows 2 days inactive. I did this one totally offline. A first for GC, even if it doesn`t mean much.

Admiral, activity is the biggest thing to being relevant. Perfect opportunity just other day. Borok had two nice clusters with no fleet and it took over 12 hours for someone to take them. We are leading tye server because we are the most active. Wont matter what race anyone is if your not active as we are. And really thats not too hard to do, I have been tge most active the past few months. Shrimpy is the only other one I see on a regular basis. Everyone else only logging on once or twice a day.

Personally, I would love it if anyone would oppose a TB-UW.
