What`s in a name ?

So after a rather humourous PM banter between myself and Borok about name changes I wonder if people would explain why they call them selves what they do ?

So I am called Hyperion as my is called Titanomachy which:

In Greek mythology, the Titanomachy (/ˌtaɪtəˈnɒməki/ Greek: Τιτανομαχία) was a ten-year[1] series of battles fought in Thessaly, consisting of most of the older generation of deities (the Titans, based on Mount Othrys) fighting against the younger generation (the Olympians, who would come to reign on Mount Olympus) and their allies. This event is also known as the War of the Titans, Battle of the Titans, Battle of the Gods, or just the Titan War. The war was fought to decide which generation of gods would have domain over the Universe; it ended in victory for the Olympians.

Hyperion is one of the Titans

<~~~~~Mine is mostly because I play alot of Elder Scrolls games, I.started off with the name Shadowreapers, which was a name I always used in morrowwind, and other online games.

Love this thread BTW. Hope to hear more from.others on this subject :)

Well, mine comes from the phrase "Cogito ergo sum" Which in latin means "I think therefore I am"

When i first started using it when i was like 10 or whatever, i misspelled Cogito. Spelled it with an a.

So my name is supposed to mean "I think". It is also the name i use for every single game i play. I`ve never ran into a time when it was already in use :)

Deathroe (and Not Deathrow, which would be to obvious)

roe = fish eggs, So, Deathroe is both a play on words and suggests, perhaps, someone who is crafty enough to take out his opponent by unusual means ?

My normal username for games is encyclopedea. I got that one when I was little and my parents called me a walking encyclopedia. That day, I signed up for Neopets, and I decided to name myself encyclopedia. Only problem was, my 6 year old self didn`t know how to spell it, which is how I ended up with encyclopedea. When signing up for this game, I decided to try something new, because I had used it for a ton of games. So, since "elemental" started with e and encyclopedea start with an e, and "elemental" sounded decent, I decided on "elemental".
