PP UW on Fast

Heaven knows we tried fighting. But currently no one can dig of the opposition I know about.

If I go and spend 2 days building and knock MastaKilla down, he spends 3 BTC`s and is instantly back up and I`m wiped as he had my fleet info, because it took all my turns just to get there. 3 BTC`s can be re-gotten inside of one day, he`s sitting with 2x advantage for the next time I try to build up, and probably won`t even need BTC`s to hit me down.

It`s a pretty vicious cycle :P Especially when you`re up against people with 255 BTC and an equal number of Historia`s.

On the overall though, Congrats to Pete. Thanks for the few hours of interesting play on fast, and the chat :)

So, Renegade, I see your points about artis, and has been a huge bother for me when I did my UW on fast or try to climb on fast on my viral. The problem for me was there was plenty of opposition with artis to counter our arti stash that nullified the artifact discussion. But a few years ago, it was the other way around on Fast from my perspective where it was weighted against our fed. So honestly, maybe down the road it might change.

I agree with renegade the artifacts are the issue.

MastaKilla - It`s not that people only wanted to play while on top. It`s that the current top players of fast actually cannot be fought if you can not dig for artifacts, and since none of the opposition is in a time zone where this is possible, the server is a dead joke.

Pretending that the issue is literally anything else is nonsense.

as i said fast and slow should be closed as both are inactive in a sense since new players wont stay ultra to a lesser extent

And dont worry, we didnt have the faintest idea that anyone would kill this UW. If someone should it would be Donster, and he hasnt done much for a long time.

Once Fast was an active server, and we were the resistance. Its not because we have increased in numbers, but for some reason everone else has quit since we took over the ranks. Apparently they only wanted to play while on top.

Bur Dreamer, you cant seriously expect some, who have played together for years, suddenly to go against each other, trying to steal eachothers clusters, just to liven up the server? That must be a job for the newer empires on the server. We do what we can by blowing up some seriously OP empires to even things out a bit.

Another TB UW, and yet again they act surprised at the lack of resistance. Pete did you really think that all those outside your fed are against you, active, have the artifacts necessary to mount any kind of resistances and have the communication and activity to pose a threat.

if anything you should feel sorry for wasting your own time taking the time to build up to do this UW, you could have achieved the same thing from 200 mil pr especially 2 other people in the ranks to protect you with their fodder fleets and emergency artifacts stash your fed has just in case someone managed to scrap 20-30 BTC up to put you in dp once.

one day people may realize that if they want the servers they play to become active they`ll stop cramming 75% of the most active players in one fed and fight each other in smaller groups. but by all means cram more active people in your feds and keep setting off UW`s the server is dead.

slow and fast should be closed maybe even close to ultra to only RT and normal have any diversity in feds n power

I doubt it... it wasnt like there was an actual opposition it seems. Wasnt even 5% of the fleet killed.

The difficulty for some people to get artifacts doesn`t help. Lack of minerals as well.

Sorry about my feeble attempts. Bad timing. Bu I too am astonished by how easy UWs are nowadays. The days when an UWs demanded the full attention by a large fed for 48 hours are gone. :-(

A 1000 planet viral that build a 900 mil fleet without bankrupting himself. There must be some land hidden there. I would have expected a little miore incentive in trying to take me down.
