how do you play guardian? i mean how do you get income?
Z Zmezmer
To start...you`ll want to strip the ore off of planets and sell it to get credits.
P PistolPete
No... the loyalty you got will remain on the cluster once its made.

The loaylty you end up with is the weigthed average of the population that were on what you cluster. So if you remove population on everything with low loaylty you end up with a cluster with the loyalty of the cluster that has pop.
Z Zanarkand
@pistol , how about ,after clustering and rebuild housing?do the loyalty go down?
A AdmiralSarek
In the mean time depending on server you can explore lots for ore to sell to others, but do not do any mining reasearch
A AdmiralSarek
Attack lots before doing missions and hope you get lucky and snare a high loyalty planet.
P PistolPete
Remember that you can preserve the loaylty on a planet when you convert the planet into a C1, by disbanding all the population on the unloyaltied planets that goes into the cluster. Same principle when you make your C2 from 5 C1s.

Q: How do you play guardian?
A: Correctly

Jokes aside..

1) save your missions for later..
2) research housing
3) explore for either 800+ land (or 1k land) barrens / 10k u.larges
4) build housing
5) ???
6) profit

alternatively, buy gordos

PROTIP: Don`t do your missions until you have the planets you want WITH 2500+ loyalty from fighting. Missions grant you 900 total bonus loyalty. That way you can have 3,400 loyalty, that`ll be the best possible thing to do for your income.

When clustering planets, loyalty averages out, so if you have 4 colonies with 50 loyalty then another with 2,500, you`d have 540 loyalty after clustering. A way to get around that: Kill all the population on all the planets that don`t have the loyalty. If a colony is dead (has no population) it`s exempt from the loyalty averaging, so that way you can keep the 2,500 loyalty.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

you research housing and built housing ...

guardian race doesn`t require food so you can have a high population
