My people are normally a fairly peaceful group. They don`t complain about high tax rates, government corruption, frequent consumer product shortages, constant surveillance, or being crammed into substandard housing like a bunch of sumo wrestlers into a sauna... Like I said, pretty tolerant lot. However, this whole unionized decision to swap over to entirely organic food stuffs is causing a bit of a stir among the masses.

They don`t care about your crazy self-serving hippie agendas, or all your made up studies that claim pesticides are bad for you, they want their good old fashioned normal food back. The want pesticides, rBST, GMO`s and all the other upgrades on their food and they want their cheap prices back too. Besides, everyone knows a radioactive apple a day keeps the virals away... So on behalf of my people, and on behalf of freedom and other buzzwords, I implore you, cease this hippie agenda and return to producing the cheap wholesome food that everyone loves...

Well lets not let it get all the way up to 12... that might be bad for the economy... I am working hard to keep 8 the number for now

To me, 7-9 is a more normal range. Certain races don`t make much going all the way down to 6, but anything below 12 tbh is fine for taxers, even tax Virals.

ya well when Ren and I are both active.. like during the school break... Food sat at 1 and 2.... Crazy!!!!!!!!!

yeah... in my experience with this game "normal" is between 6-12 with prices getting to like 4-14 on rare occasions... It`s pretty self correcting though, especially with new empire bonuses.

It was more a reply to an earlier thread than a legitimate complaint. But lets not make this about the gobs of money that I make, remember, its about what the people want!

My people told me they don`t mind if it`s rotten... yeah.. um they told me that. So I`ll take any bargain priced food you guys can`t sell.

On behalf of the farmers: this is not mcdonalds, we don`t do the dollar menu, and the extra cost isn`t for pesticides, its for shipping the food halfway across the universe and still get it to your people before it goes rotten, do you have any idea the logistical cost that takes?

Thanks for your understanding. Please bump food back to 10.
