After you disband ships can you get them back?

Archived thread. It was closed and moved to the archive, which is where the board has
always kept closed threads. Nothing has been lost — every post is below.
disbanding means that you have vaporized those old ships and will never see them again
...however you can go to `build ships` and build some new ones identical to the old ones, if you want
