ive always seen that as the solution. thats the way it was done back in the days. the whole server would chip away at the armor. of course there will always be the ones not wanting 2 rack up dozens of consecutive losses, instead going 4 the glory of making the big hit (which is probably more fun) lol

This is true. Also buys time with multiple attacks and him having to hit F5 everytime he tries to build..

going for the big hit is not the best strategy i dont think. u have 2 destroy faster than he can build. building in2 higher pr opens u up 2 being hit by defenders ruining all of ur hard work. 10 -20 empires constantly hitting from 1-20 mil pr would take him down faster than peeps taking their time trying to smack the heck out of him...
