When a planet`s ore hits 0, does mining infrastructure have any effect?

Is it best for me to remove any mining planet infrastructure once the ore is gone?

So does this mean that when I have all the ore taken out of a planet, then I keep my mining infrastructure there it means I get a higher income of minerals?
