though i think ren is right on it being impossible to explore a c3
max scanner rating you can have is 2,309,999,796, anything beyond that will not register, forgot i did some testing a while back, with max scanner at it requires 2 turns to explore planets at 73 planets 150 turns at 100 planets and at 110 planets it`s takes 925 turns. from there on out it goes beyond 999 turns.
it would take 4,620,000 viator II scouts to get max scanner rating which would be 1.848 bil upkeep a turn. which is a ridiculous amount while still having to burn nearly 1k turns to find just planet 111. though i guess you could use this to calculate at what how long it would take you to find just planet 111 with a more feasible amount of scouts and those accustom to your race
just to find planet 111 it would take 2,136,749,811,300 exploration points. for example that you have 110 planets as a guard (since opal has the highest scanners of a scout), a super guard that some how makes 50 mil a turn, and you build the 333,333 opals you`d be able to have without going into the negative per turn which would give you a total scanning power of 499,999,500, it would take you 4,273 turns to find that single planet and there is only 13,031 paid turns in a day... and that 112th planet is only going to take much much longer to find..
