Bringing the fact of the matter public is never a good idea. It leaves room for flaming, ridicule, and open protest concerning staff made decisions. If you object to the decision go through the help center or pm the corresponding staff member regarding the matter. Very sorry that happened to you but maybe whatever you did can be avoided next time.
