This is most likely EE keeping his word about Posting Minerals on RT if none were to be found, It could also be Some mythical Rogue Program or simply a Bank Error in your favor but never mind that Jazz.

There will be mineral, this is alot of annoyance so i expect you the players to keep an eye on the market if it runs dry in a mineral type you will need to post in here Or contact Staff that happens to be online, so that Some staff member can use me to post all you Greedy self indulgent Hoarders can use your money for something. Though i expect you to be generous with it once i go away.

I think i may exist for two weeks, we will see, not so big on this existence thing. Enjoy my goodies and play nice

Also there will probably also be Ore.

There will be No Food/Raw mat or Goods. because as one of my more favorite quotes go "Not my problem" as in PostingMinerals so really there shouldn`t even be Ore, but consider it a bonus

That is all, and this i command Hail Serpentor and such.

Not many omeg, if any!

I really wish I started as min miner though and not tax.

The point of the game is not only finishing the game Brotherhood by uw`ing. THe guard race is a good example of this.

Maybe I should restart as min miner, but omg the amount of clicking to reinvest.

These empires need to finish the game, how we ever going to keep market filled when these guys can buy more than 30 newer empires can produce? market is supply and demand, with empires like this still around demand always going to dry market up, So real solution lies in how we get empires to finish the game and become productive to the server instead of sucking the life outta it? in few more days they will be maxxed everything and activity will again go away cause they will have to VM.

How many mineral miners are there exactly on RT these days that are constantly churning out minerals (20-25 days a month for at least 3-4 hours per day) for a month?

I`ve had enough time to go over the situation while the current solution of a minor patch fix isn`t the most ideal it`s still the lesser of two evils

the UW and this will both have and have already had end results of helping bolster activity..

There`s only so many things that are within admin power to actually do and in my book anything which helps bolster activity and is beneficial to any new players/restarted empires on the server is a good thing from a standpoint of helping clear the stagnation

CKY so you`re saying it`s best to have the market empty which discourages activity and will discourage new players from staying in general..

This game has been at the drawing board since 03/04 lol.

CKY EE did promise that we will ge a temporary solution while he finds a permanent. I know a black-market is a permanent solution but, it will not be implemented so we should resolve it via other ways. Basically back to the drawing board.

VM`ing for 2 weeks wont resolve the problem the minerals will still be there either used in ships or hoarded, nor will your attitude?

The problem is flooding it so soon after a U.W for the exact reason that people had hoarded so much.

Makes it completely pointless, whether or not you agree with it shouldn`t come into your admin roll.

you are pricking personal choices over the right choices.

Good job EE and thank you for providing minerals (I still disapprove on the uw however, but thats another discussion).

Buying out the ore is like fighting a small uw btw.

No this has nothing to do with the rich people, I said that if after the UW there isn`t a resurgence of minerals on the market that something would be done about it. This is that something. Everyone will have 2 weeks to get some minerals banked up and after that what ever happens happens. As for you never seeing anything like this done before since you started playing then you must stop playing when i host events. like last halloween there was a similar steady supply of minerals on the market.

If you don`t like the minerals being there VM for 2 weeks and don`t log in until your vm is up all will be as it should be when you return.

this isn`t a comment on the minerals thread, i don`t want your opinions accept the fact that there are minerals now, there won`t be later, buy them or don`t the choice is yours.

There`s a problem with the supply of minerals... and it takes some rich people playing with the food market to get some results for the mineral shortage? There has been a low supply of minerals since I started here (Dec 2011) and I haven`t seen anything done about it until now.

Since the market has been working as it is intended, why add this npc? Just let rich people buy up food over and over again. The market has been junk for a long time so why try to temporarily fix it? It`s not going to be any better of a fix than a mandatory UW. The game is stagnant and better not to mess with.

Hardly pointless since it`s not free and is max price the only people it effect in the slightest is Mineral Miners and those who strip mine ore who will have to suffer the loss of 1 credit per unit in order to actually sell anything.

Other than that there are people with max cash already and nothing to do with it except mess with the food market.
