Why would my population go down? My food production is higher than my food consumption. What else would cause this problem.

You lose loyalty/pop declines every time you use an amount of turns that consumes more food than you currently have in stock.
don`t post all your food so you have 0 at some time cause every time it`s at 0 it will die and have to re-grow
Anyone know what the food limit for loosing pop and loyalty is? Is it dependent on the the size of the pop?
If I remember, if your enslaved and your master punishes you your loyalty goes down. As a guard I dont have that problem so correct me if I`m wrong.

thanks maybe that is my problem.
if you don`t have enough food on hand it doesn`t matter how much you make a turn your loyalty/pop will drop.

do you have like a constant food reserve ? normally i try to keep a million food reserve and i haven`t notice my population going down
