Lack of targets and planets has had a negative impact of all parts of game play. An infusion of clusters on the server would increase activity and stabilize markets; however, the approach must be scientific.

Let examine the top 50 ranks. excluding the top ten empires who`s power levels are the exceptions rather than the rule we have the following data from ranks 10-50

Range approximately 600,000

Median 2,650,000

Mean (average) 4,000,000

Mode 4,000,000

Assuming that the numbers are in order to have a significant impact on the server there must be an event or function once every +4 million power.

My proposal if the staff and admin can come together to make it happen. A massive influx of x class 60k c3`s place on the borders of random empires daily begining at 5k power and going in increment of every 4 million thereafter for a total of 30 c3`s being fed to the server on a daily basis.

No flaming , constructive feedback would be usefull.

i think naturally there are players who likes to horde and players who do not like to horde, but i do encourage more events at the median/mean range of pr that would be awesome !

You dont have to let the c3s float around forever plunder them at the end of the month

make it a whole month event the reward is the $ you make from them or something

I think 0 land Xc.5`s would be a better choice, useless to all, so no advantage for anyone and unable to plunder by all. and let it go for a few weeks and then give out a choice of prizes that the c5 can be traded for such as a 55k c.4`s taints and sims and 60k c3 or what have you. player choice.

Ren makes a point I didnt consider, tbk mentioned a large amount of xc3`s being distributed where as ren said empires can only hold so many so it would be interesting to watch go down.

If you`re going to do it, something like 30 a day is necessary. 2-3 a week won`t change anything.

The idea that the rich will get richer is certainly true, but considering you can only hold so many planets viably, with 30 + popping up, the majority will end up in the hands of people who don`t have any/many c3`s currently.

This could also help reduce the impact of gordo`s, with plenty of land being available for anyone willing to fight. Half the reason gordo`s are so viable atm is that it`s hard to find other clusters.

It sounds like a good idea. I imagine it`d help solve the food incosistency problem and to an extent battle inactivity. It`s been done in the past and I for one can`t see much harm in such event. If the relatively poor but well playedempires can get a hold of such c3s and manage to keep them it`d reduce the gap between wealth amongst empires. Inevitably, as {DrKsT}GuArDiAn said it might make the rich richer but it`d also make at least some of the poor, less poor in my opinion.

I agree with fortythree about this amount of c3s being excessive. That`s almost 4k planets added daily, which is ridiculous. I imagine 2-3 c3s a week being added via some event won`t hurt anybody.

It`s certainly a nice initiative for marauders and collectives to go big.

not really forthree because then it would encourage marus and collectives to come out and play to plunder the x c3s :)

I like the idea of an event with empires at a selection of PRs so that all can play. I also like the idea of x class C3s but thata partially because that would be massively helpful to me. I think 30 a day would be a little excessive.

I do like the idea and it seems well put together but the major draw back that I would predict would be the xc3`s would just simply filter up to the empires with the highest income/activity level then you would have them simply sitting at 100+ mill pr out distancing themselves from the players with very little income/activity. Although I do agree that implementation of some xc3`s would increase activity, gc especially rt s always going to have those players that sit in quite hoarding resources at low pr simply because thats their thing and they dont like getting actively aggressive in battle and would rather save for the great day.

Is this idea going to increase activity? I would answer yes. But I do feel in the end the rich would just get richer. I do have some suggestions but this is your thread and I`m willing to see where it goes.
