Kalzul`s long term problems

I am sure that many people are very happy that there`s infinite supply of minerals right and consumer goods now due to Kazul acting as a mineral bot. However, I feel that this is only a very short term solution and certain steps should be taken to prevent Kalzul from unbalancing the economy.

I propose forcing Kalzul to sell its Consumer goods at the price of 5 and minerals at the price of 1500 or higher. My explaination follows:

in the long term, Kazul acting as a mineral bot will cause long term problems on the economy of space fed

With an infinite supply of minerals and consumer goods, the A miners will be forced to price their minerals and consumer goods at a lower price than Kalzul. This may not affect the mineral market much, as A miners can price their minerals at the price of 999, but its not the same for consumer goods.

A miners now have to price their goods at the price of 3 and this drop of 1 will decrease many of the miners` income.
Hence I propose that the Kalzul be forced to sell its consumer goods at the price of 5 per consumer goods.

Another problem with Kalzul is that it is a short term solution and it is in no way solving the problem. By using Kalzul at a mineral bot and producing minerals and selling them at the price of 1000, many people will stockpile the minerals produced by Kalzul and will have no need for the minerals produced by A miners.
Sales of A miner minerals will decrease and it will certainly decrease the population of A miners.
Hence the economy will be unable to substain itself without Kalzul, and there will be less A miners in the game.

What i propose is that Kalzul is forced to sell its minerals at 1500 or higher as this will discourage players from stockpiling Kalzul produced minerals, preferring instead to buy Player-produced minerals, hence giving piority to player produced minerals.
This idea is not new, there is some kind of black market in UC which is similar.

Thank you, please correct me if wrong

Hybrid it is a matter of patience for 2 days, A.Miners can stock up and wait it out, if more A.Miners were selling on the market there would not be such a out cry for minerals, check out other posts there are more empires in need of minerals than there are A.Miners
H HYBRID
well galacticaddict your saying this because u probobaly affected but other people are and its a problem for empires when they cant sell anything
G GalacticAddict
The Kazul bot is up for about 48 hours or less once a month. It gives people who are in serious need some minerals, if there were more A.Miners selling people would not be crying out for minerals. So chuck it up and deal with it.

i agree with Macbeth.. kalzul is not a problem.. only with miner`s ships
H HYBRID
i agree with galahad a miner ships need more attention they have cash and minerals but to build certian ships its wasted
M Macbeth
There is no problems and an infinite supply will do nothing to harm our economy it will just give people minerals to fight which is the point of the game.

--- There is no CG bot.

--- A.Miners can post at 999 and lose 1/1000th of their potential income, I think that is worth a constant supply. Their sales will also *not* fall, as empires with less money saved up will buy their minerals as they need them and not spend all their money on stockpiling for no reason.

--- Make A.Miner more appealing by improving the ships which is what is needed most.

there are people on rt that click and click and click to make income and can not afford to buy minerals, even at $1000? sounds strange to me......

Erm then skip the cgs part then..

Ok... then... erm ya... the minerals... the price of 1500 would be high.. maybe 1200 could be better? :P
A AlphaRED
Minerals yes, cgs no.
A aTOMsisOP
? Isn`t it Kalzul flooding the market with minerals?
A AlphaRED
GC does not need any UC ideas or models.

I know who is flooding cgs market and is not kz. cgs price is to pop 5$ so why buy them at 5$ ?

Mins at 1500$ dont be silly, problem is not enough pumping out mins, hence new players will not sit there clicking if cant fight, hell most older players hate it.

And were on earth do you think new players can afford 1500$ per unit of mins if some cant afford 1000$ now??

yea, Uc`s black market is a very good solution

This idea is not new, there is some kind of black market in UC which is similar and it prices its goods higher than the standard market price.

The ideal solution is to increase the A miners` population to eventually remove the need for Kalzul to be a mineral bot. And the very least we can do to ensure that more people choose to be A miners to to gurantee that their ability to sell their goods and minerals are not comprimised.

Thank you everyone who is reading this message and i would be more than happy to acknowledge any flaws that you point out.

And Dear Stephen, Mods, and guides, please consider my humble opinion.
