No, it is still 4 planets. It will still say C2 on your Manage Colonies page though. You can cluster this (un)infected C2 with your other C1`s to make a C2 that will be 24 planets instead of 25.

so tainted c2 is 4-planet. i uninfect it and it becomes 5-planet cluster-1?
