i don`t feel myself strong in gc battles, but i`d like to share 2 battles with community. also comments are welcome.
As this is no bug report, i have hidden attackers names(by replacing it with `attacker`).

a)

I defended without loosing any ships and wiped one attacker`s stack. Because of top stacks that had high base pr?

generic advice, leading livids is a bit of a gamble. low range and crazy swing mods, it can die relatively easily to quite a number of regular ships that is led into battle

or it was normal attack..
battle sim last row:
Stack 5 (D)
vs.
Stack 3 (A) Defender`s 1 M.Chlorite Destroyer attack(s) Attacker`s 1220 M.Hal Fighter
- 30 M.Hal Fighter destroyed

saying my single chlorite flanked attackers hal and killed 30 hals.
but if chlorite attacks remaining livids then those 30 hals will stay alive and also 1 chlorite don`t kill a livid out of 3 of them
if at the end chlorite (5 ) attacks livid on normal attack, then we get exact result.

Does `excessive` stacks in gc choose random target as in uc?

well in first attack i indeed lost 3 colonies.

according to sim second one was close to normal, but slightly more damage.
I found the table for attributes about different attack types:
Attitude Defender Attacker
Cautious - 50% - 50%
Normal - 5%
Aggressive + 99% + 75

what about enslavement attack? close to normal like 0% for both.
Maybe it was enslavement attempt?
cause i can`t find enslavement option in sim...

On the first attack, have you been hit before that? Losing a colony or just winning a fight? Cause in the sims, the guy take 3.

For the second battle I seem to not get the same result but on all 3 attack type, he don`t kill anything. Livid have kinetic and Lictor is strong against Kinetic so he just didn`t have enough Livid to kill 1 lictor.

This is a battle simulator. Copy and past attack/defender stacks select careful, normal or aggresive and you can see result.
