What ways can you increase your available labor? Is the only way to add more housing?

always kept closed threads. Nothing has been lost — every post is below.
Researching Housing will increase the amount of population per housing unit . Terran start with 0 in Housing , or 10 pop per housing unit built. Researching say 2 times in Housing will give you 12 pop per housing unit , thus a planet with 50 housing and no research will support 500 pop but, doing 2 research points in housing will give you 600 pop ( or 12 pop per housing unit ) with the same 50 housing units . You will need to feed the people also.
If you have no labor, and want to build more housing, you can gain labor by demolishing existing infrastructure in other areas like mining or agri.
