If i remember properly, you can I had a hell of a war against each other a couple years ago saga. O.o
and at one point i think i had about 75% of the enslavable Fast server as mine. O.o

Tactically, enslavement is a good way to prevent an enemy from being able to hit you, and lets you plan when you wish to hit them again as you could drop them from your enslavement and re-enslave them.

I have for many years practiced this very thing , makes me Real popular :P

enslaving isn`t about what you get from your slave.. it`s about giving your slave ships that destroy anyone that try`s to attack them.

unfortunately tribute reserve maxes out @ 999,999,999. it is possible to make decent cash if you enslave the right empires, u just have to be active enough to clear reserve.

As I said its near impossible to make decent income.

Your wrong about the 2 races. About a year back I enslaved a dark marauder. Only lasted for about 15 mins but was a nice way to get rid of an X class dark I had when he used his retaliation.
As for enslaving there are more reasons to enslave then just to get cash. I`d say it would be near impossible to make decent income from enslaving alone.
