$2000 Minerals?

Or simply remove the cap on $ entirely.... Then one could sell to his/her heart`s content and mins would be abundant as folks would compete to see just how much $ can actually be amassed in their banks (only to have 90% wiped out by a UW)

Facebook is the 2nd largest site on the planet. Advertising on facebook (which I do with my business) is inexpensive and easy to do. You can target exactly who you want to advertise to.

I have max cash and max minerals. I cannot post more minerals because I am max cash. Simple as that. I have to build fleets nd use turns for weeks at 100+ mil PR to start having to need to post minerals.

Security is a more valid reason than scumbags imo, point taken. Still say it`s worth finding a way to funnel some players out of facebook somehow. Simple awareness would be enough to snag quite a few new players into the mix.

No, facebook is a giant cesspit full of vulnerabilities and security loop holes. It`s basically a giant ` please hack me ` sign. Oh and then add in the scumbags.

You have scumbags regardless of where you draw your crowd from. But you also have potential good players sitting in a thus far untapped mass of people. Good and bad abounds in every scenario.

Well, as much as I hate to admit it, Facebook has quite a following of people that play turn based games on it, seems the logical step for a game like Gc to make. The player base would be pretty large then I`d imagine.

Re do the game? i`m cool with. Making it part of facebook trash? not cool with.

Indeed, it`s easier to simply make a clone of the game and move on. How hard would it be to recreate this entire game in a facebook app if you had the money for servers and stuff? =/

I believe G`s and A`s offered him many times to help him re-do the codes for easier manipulating after but he just refuse.

Hard Coded means he has no idea what to do anymore...

What I do not get about this... What does "Hard Coded" Mean? does he not have access to his own flippin code?

If anything that just shows this game needs a complete programming update... Granted I know this will never happen.



You know what will get more people to stay around? More fantastic events like we just had (<3 deus) If that happened once a month or so I bet we`d see more people stickin around.

Can you change market price limits so that minerals could cost 2000?

- Nope requires Stephen

Can you change the mineral capacity?

- Already tried to get Stephen to drop the mineral cap to 200mil for all minerals more times then i can count since late 2008 working with Maraudian.

Can you change the race income modifiers?

- Did get Stephen to do this once or twice but it also had some unexpected outcomes when he did them... (Like deleting all race stats before the refresh on accident and me having to help him fix it..)

Can you change the mineral cost and ship price of a ship?

- Mineral cost yes, Ship cost no.. Not even Stephen can change ship cost it`s auto calced by the server
