New player looking for a Fed

I`m relativly new, (2 days). So I`m looking for a fed for some protection. Any advice on a good one? One that`ll actually protect me and that I can actually help. I have like 13 planets right now (expect to loose 6 through battle though, they`re basically buffers)

u can join Tempest on GC/RT, wed be glad to have u in and could help you starting off and learning the basics
