Well, that makes %100 sense, and that`s also the first I`ve heard of that.

We`ve explained this before, and I`ll do it again since apparently people don`t have long term memory. When you bypass the coding in the market, you can cause your own empire to be corrupt. An example would be you bypass the food market cap, and someone then in turns buys it all. There`s a chance that you`ll not receive the cash from that sale. This is one of the least dangerous things that could happen.

Just curious then....what`s the difference between one post at 15 bil and 15 at 1 bil? Someone still has to either undercut of buy it out and repost higher....

Then again, I don`t know why I`m even commenting, as I don`t produce, I only consume....

because it locks that price in, its unfair to post an amount more than another player can due to the cap. we have caps so that its more fair to others that are perhaps lower in level to keep the market moving at a steady pace instead of one player locking down that particular price and preventing anyone else from selling at that price unless they undercut.

I dont understand why it should be illegal to do this anyway. If someone come up with a good example why it could inflict gamelplay, maybe I would listen.

And posting in amounts less than 1 billion, but 11-12 times, would have achieved the same thing Squaks.. This is the sort of thing that`s done purely out of laziness that breaks the rules. So pointless. =/
