Hi guys,

After 5 years I`ve returned to SpaceFed, to let you all know who`s tha boss (lmao).

Eventough, I`ve noticed allmost nothing has changed to GC, what`s up with that? I can remember, a lot of cool ideas were on the forum, and nothing has been set up...

Bearing that in mind I still want to add an idea to improve Feds. Today feds are "just a group of people". I`m a bit of a Starwars fans, and I say that`s ridiculous. Federations should be a united front, that are bigger and better then an empire that stands alone.
That`s just my perspective, and to improve it all at once is never a good idea, unless you change it like UC (I really liked it when the old one was there, I pwn`d everybody).

So my idea is, to improve interaction between fedmates and there leader, is that every fed mate can choose an option to show there fleet, there planets, and percentages of battles and such. I know that this idea is probly major, but it will improve gameplay so much between federations. That everyone that is playing, wants to be in a fed, no, has to be in a fed.

SpaceFed hasn`t been the only TBMMORPG I`ve played; I can speak from 10 years of gaming, that the idea is a good one, will work, and will improve gameplay between federations itself.

First of all, you`ll be very lucky to get any ideas implemented.. even good ones... as you may be able to see from what you said about not much changing, lol... although some stuff has changed since that long ago =P

A lot of the things you suggested would be quite handy and make things simpler, but most of that can be done in one way or another anyway. I don`t know whether you mean fed mates should be able to see your actual planet list or the planet count.. but everyone can see each others planets count anyway. The other fed based ideas can, and often are, discussed/pasted in fed discussion anyway.. such as battle reports, fleets and such... and it really isn`t too difficult to copy such things into discussion =]

Also, most of those notifications (players joining/leaving the fed, the amount of applicants for the fed, new leaders being elected, etc) are already things which appear on the important events page which you see when you first log in.

The majority of the ideas you have put across, while they would be handy to make things slightly more efficient, are not much more than little features with which to cut a few small corners off.
And I`m no coder, but I`d expect it would take a lot more effort to implement those ideas than it`s worth... way too much effort for Stephen especially =P

Also an option for PM notification:
- For the leadere when players have applied to your fed.
- For the players when they have been accepted/denied.
- When Fed members have replied on the Discussion Board.
- When players have left the federation.
