I restarted to terran after a long time as a.miner. What I liked about a.miner was (1) exploring two c.2s and making easy money, and (2) building a defense, waiting for dp, then cashing in counters.
What I didn`t like about a.miner was (1) market dependent, (2) I don`t know how to fight except attack with a chlor spam or build a strong defense, (3) I didn`t start digging until I was done researching - basically I dug because I had nothing else to do, and (4) a 2 land gas and 1100 barren are the same value in a cluster.
These are just my opinions to try to help you guide me. Starting over again reminded me how open the game is in the beginning.
Is there a general strategy or order for digging, research, and exploring? If you restarted to commercial terran, when would you research housing, commercial, and ships? When would you explore your first 25k c.2? When would you start digging to build gordos?
