Colony Loyalty

I like the idea, but I don`t see it being implemented. Other games I play get updated weekly or monthly. This game hasn`t changed since I started.

How would this benefit players other than taxers? There is already a good reward for building a defensive fleet. You lose 0-2 planets and you get a week to counter.

Winning loyalty for def wins as a guard?

Guard defensive stacks are wonderful, especially at super low power. Get a u spaz, a 1k barren, then two other borders, sit down around 50k or so, and just watch the loyalty flow in. Not to mention battle arranging, you know that`ll happen too. I wouldn`t mind seeing this as a act 3 mission reward, if they ever made act 3 missions. and have it only last a certain time. For instance a max of 100-200 battles, give them the potential to earn a little loyalty.

Tranquil. I don`t think battle arranging will be a problem at all, it would take to much time to gain a serious bunch of loyalty increase. However I do think people will fight more often (even agreeing to fight eachother) just to get higher loyalty. (agreeing to fight at a pr without making your fleet known isnt battle arranging):)

Battle arranging would be more an issue I think. Especially since it`s easy to only lose one or two. It is an interesting thought though.

A guard with 5k loyalty before missions? What`s that, 6300 after missions?
I think that is a terrible plan. But I would go back to guard in an instant if that did happen.

I like the idea, and not just because I`m to lazy to reward pop:P

1) If loyalty would increase on borders, it might even encourage some players to keep LESS worthless planets bordered.
2) By gaining from defence wins (other then better stats), people might be encouraged to make better defence fleets, resulting in more interesting fights instead of attacking scouts/strafez
3) Guards wouldn`t have to spend a whole year searching for those maxed out loyalty planets before missioning. (if they learn how to fight that is)
