Only when successful. As long as you are down to your homeworld, or under...500k pr? It`s been a while, but I believe it`s under 500k pr, your UW will end when someone successfully attacks you.

I actually thought of this way to block an UW attempt years ago, but frankly, I love fighting UWs, so why would I want to block one, even if I knew it would succeed? :P It`s always great fun.

aren`t you forced to restart when you built a UW and it ends? Or is that only when succesfull?

in theory, if you had the hektar completed and the loktar $1 away from being completed, when you see some1 @ 800mil pr an teir name appears under the ugent warning list. you can activiate a fake uw just to kill their projects so they have to reinvest turns and money and time.

and because yours was so ahead of theirs you can have a new hektar and loktar built and almost ready to go by the time their name reappears and do it again. effectivly UW blocking some1 until they hist the crud out of you
