oh you can get lower than a 2 land spaz or a 10 land ocean from exploring...it`s just rare, i used to have a -2 land ocean before stephen killed it with his + land bonus he did without thought to peoples digging planets.

and yes you can think one planet type works better for a certain race and it probably does, but it`s all speculation no one knows what exactly goes into digging (not even stephen because i`m sure he`s long since forgotten), your empire ID number could play a part for all we know.

10land oceanic is the best for digging
The next best will be 11 - 15land oceanic
After that will be 2land u.spazial
All the above planet can be found through planet exploration
The perfect digging planet will be 1land oceanic or u.spazial, which can only be get from admin giving out planet as reward for in-game event

All other Race:
U.spazial work better than oceanic.
2land u.spazial will be the best you can get from exploration
1land u.spazial is the perfect digging planet which can only be get from in-game event hosted by admin

the trick is to get a 10 land oceanic with as many 6`s in the planet ID as you can. This baby gives me 200% yield during rare dig. BOO yeah.

Noone knows - but everyone seems to have an opinion. Its been like this for the 5 years ive played this game.

Spaz is better because it dont cluster.

The only downside to oceans, and the reason most people prefer spaz is because you cant cluster the spaz.
