GC`s new background

So, what`s the back story on this? Obviously GC was hacked, probably due to outmoded security and what not.

More importantly, was the background the only thing that`s been changed, or has the game got some nasty programming left behind as well?

Would be interesting to get some kind of statement from Stephen about what happened.

we should have a make a new gc background competition. people make new backgrounds and winner gets 10 regalos or whatever

No, this affects everyone that plays the game. It would be very inefficient to expect us to fix it on our end.

just use AddBlockPlus! (FireFox and Chrome) and filter out the background image ;-)
or write some GreaseMoney to edit it out in the CSS....

and stop crying about it :p

haley, it wasnt a hack. it was just gc showing its age. however, it never hurts to change your password every 2-3 months. (8+ Characters including Numbers, Letters, and Special Characters (!@#$%^&*))

ok i fixed mine but i had to do a lot more than just clear cache IE was easier to fix but i had to do more to fix firefox

my background is still messed up so how is it fixed?
